GINA RENÉ AND MILLION 7
We are Gina René: singer/songwriter/emcee, creator of intuitive lyrical melodies and Seth 'Million 7' Theodore: pianist/drummer/dub master & riddim producer.

Gina’s grandfather, Leon René, created the first Black R&B label on the west coast, Exclusive Records, that celebrated among other hits, Louis Armstrong’s When It’s Sleepy Time Down South and the wildly popular Rockin’ Robin. Seth’s grandfather, Eddie Smith, played trumpet with the legendary Earl “Fatha” Hines Band in the 1960s. His solo featured on the song West End Blues on Hines’ LP, A Monday Date, recorded live at The Birdhouse in Chicago, established him as a worthy replacement for Louis Armstrong’s seat.

Gina René is an internationally known American singer and songwriter who discovered her voice through a series of colorful life experiences. Born into an multi-ethnic family (Créole/Choctaw Native Am./European) Gina René grew up splitting time between the coastal town of Santa Cruz and the city life of Los Angeles, Ca. Music runs in Gina’s family.

Keyboardist, drummer, and music producer Seth “Million 7” Theodore reached a professional level while still in high school when he started touring for Hip-Hop, Reggae and Dancehall artists. With a musical family and a record collection of his own since the age of four, due to access to his mothers immense record collection from being a local Disc Jokey, a deep investigation of the history of Jazz, Soul, R&B, along with Mento, Ska, Rocksteady, Roots Reggae, and Hip-Hop continued thru choice picks of vinyl records that continues to this day.
