Color Red Artist Object Heavy is Humboldt County’s hardest hitting soul sensation. The band is led by the nuanced and powerful voice of Richard Love, alongside explosive, tasteful keyboardist Brian Swislow, masterful guitarist Rich Kearns. You’ll find rock steady drummer Sam Kaplan-Good in the loop. Family Mystic is a dynamic funk/soul jam ensemble led by four-part vocal harmonies based out of Portland, OR. Their live shows consistently provide an uplifting experience that redefines healing through song, dance, and emotional connection. These four visionary songwriters blend elements of classic funk/soul, 60’s/70’s psychedelia, a splash of progressive jazz fusion, with thoughtful four-part vocal harmonies, innovating a genre-defying experience that calls listeners deeper into the human experience through the sanctity and celebration of music.
