The Baytals are a soulful Reggae & Ska band based out of The Bay Area of Northern California.

Drawing influence from artists such as Sublime, The Maytals, Gregory Isaacs and Half Pint, the band first stepped onto the local scene in 2018 and have been steadily building a grassroots reputation of delivering uplifting renditions of Reggae and Ska favorites infused with a unique Blues style from frontman Safaa Modir on guitar and vocals.

The Baytals perform their brand of energetic live music with the intention of encouraging a communal sense of compassion, peace & joyfulness.
