Hailing from the vibrant Monterey Bay, JAM and the Buttered Biscuits serve up a delicious  blend of bluesy funk rock music. Originally formed in the fall of 2024 to bring the solo works  of JAM (Jeffrey A. Meyer) to the stage, the band's recipe has been evolving ever since. The  group has added a fresh flavor to the work and new songs along the way.  

The "Biscuits" feature a formidable lineup: Leo MacDonald was among the first to join— bringing smooth, buttery bass lines—with drummer Cliff Nichols and his driving rhythmic  grooves on the pots and pans following closely behind. Fernando Giraldo sears the mix with  his fiery lead guitar work, complemented by the indispensable blues and country  seasoning provided by Brad Kava on harmonica. Nathan Dennen garnishes the sound with  soulful keys, adding a rich layer of funk and organ-driven texture to the spread.  

Delivering their signature Central Coast sound, JAM and the Buttered Biscuits are a must see act from Santa Cruz to Monterey and beyond.
