Dalwayne was born and raised in the hills of George Town, western St. Mary, Jamaica. Growing up around the sound systems in the community, he developed a love and talent for writing and performing songs. While in high school, he participated in song clash competitions with other aspiring artists and was known to be a lethal lyricist.
After high school, Dalwayne was introduced to upcoming producer Phillip McFarlane, who is from the southern part of the community. Phillip is the current owner of Irie Yute Tapes. They have been working together since then, recording dozens of songs.

Dalwayne did his first USA tour in 2022, opening for EarthKry and performing at some major festivals and clubs. He has continued to tour extensively while dropping some hard-hitting reggae songs.

Dalwayne is reggae with a singjay style, choosing to use his music to uplift and highlight the reality of the society we live in.
