Founded in 2010, Coal Fired Bicycle is a band of transplants, named for an absurd anachronism that seemed almost inevitable in its day. 

The unsettled music, like a Louise Nevelson sculpture, looks like Americana or Alt-Country from far away, but as you get closer you get, the more distinct the found objects become in spite of their matching paint.
